Sucky Day

Today has not been a fun day. I have a slight headache and I haven’t been feeling too good. School was okay – except for the double Chemistry periods !! Oh.My.God – when will the teacher just get off our backs ?
And I miss my friend who moved way over to Canada last month … that was a major bummer for me.

Going Away

all the times of fun we had
time of joy; to be happy, to be glad
all the times we used to fight
when some things never seemed to go right
what you mean to me, what is your price
but now that you’re going away
i felt an empty hole i never felt before
i an feel you go out my life’s door
why can’t i tell you what you mean to me
what value you hold to me
i remember all the fun times we had
i can’t let go of you, i feel so sad
you’re here in my mind, inside my head
you’ll always be my best friend, remember what I said
all the times we fought
all the hurt to you i brought
i wish i could take it all back
just to get you back
and now i realize what you mean to me
but these tears i shed, i will never let you see

in the hills beyond the sight
where the birds are in flight

in the veil behind the mind
in the eyes of those who are blind

in the ears of all who hear
the tragedy is more than we can bear

whatever you touch you can’t feel
and in your heart you want to steal

when you stand on someone’s grave
weeping though you try to be brave

in your mind when it’s empty of thought
lost or confused in the dark
